I’bada is almost universally translated as worship, a concept implanted, most probably a direct transplantation from the contrived religion of Christianity. It would seem Muslims are happy to accept the prevailing concept of I’bada, to be worship, while Muslims would feel the same concept in Buddhism, or Hinduism, should be condemned as an ignorant and contrived act. The word Puja (Pooja), expresses worship in both Hinduism, and Buddhism, but would Muslims use this word in a translation of the Qur’an in place of I’bada, NO, quiet emphatically, they would never do such a thing, yet they are more than happy to accept this English equivalent, as not just acceptable, but the right concept of I’bada. I’bada does not mean worship, why would Allah (Not God), the sustainer, need, want, or even care about the pointless, and futile act of worship, most certainly Allah (Not God) would not. There is no outside force to worship, Allah (Not God) emanates all realities from the inside out; so what would you worship outside of yourself, only an external idol, a sovereign; the contrived concept of worship, manifestly constricts your natural freedom of higher emotional expansion, enslaving you to a blind religion holding your mind in a stagnant state. I’bada is service; service to yourself, to expand your knowledge and build your wisdom, to expand your emotional condition to ever higher states, to establish firm and unshakable belief. I’bada is service; service to your fellow man, to help every person you encounter grow and expand within themselves, to attain a transformed state of being. I’bada is service; service to establishing and evolving the system of Allah’s Deen, within the local community, to demonstrate Islam, to shine as a beacon of reason and knowledge. I’bada is service; service to Allah, and by serving Allah we serve mankind, ourselves, our community and our families with reason, justice and honour. The ignorant direct Muslims to worship and obey Allah, while Allah directs Muslims, to serve humanity, and follow the concepts and principles expressed within the Qur’an, exclusively through the faculty of reason; if you follow the religious guidance, you will be stagnant and confused; if you follow Allah’s guidance, you will grow and expand within yourself, as will those who interact with you, to ever greater heights. The concept of I’bada, if viewed as worship, is not a beneficent act, it serves no purpose, it is idol and religious worship. When Islam is a philosophy based on physical action.
