Comparison – Asad Translation. Comparison – P-Muslim Translation. Surah 108: 1 إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ Certainly, the information from us is plain and makes it easy to move forward in life. You should take it from us with both hands, just like plucking fruit from a height. 108:1 Indeed, We have bestowed upon you Abundant Good. 108:1 We have blessed you with many a bounty. 108:1 Lo! We have given thee Abundance; 108:1 To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance). 108:1 BEHOLD, We have bestowed upon thee good in abundance: 108:1 We have given you plenty. Surah 108: 2 فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ This information is an aid to decide judicially between what is true and what is false, from your Sustainer, Maintainer, Fosterer and Accomplisher. So you shall become experts through it, based upon intellect and knowledge, as well as experience and wisdom. 108:2 Therefore, follow the commands of your Lord and convey them to others so that they might follow as well. And sacrifice your comfort for the welfare of the community. 108:2 Therefore, you shall pray to your Lord, and give to charity. 108:2 So pray unto they Lord, and sacrifice. 108:2 Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. 108:2 hence, pray unto thy Sustainer [alone], and sacrifice [unto Him alone]. 108:2 Therefore, you shall reach out to your Lord, and sacrifice. Surah 108: 3 إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ Surely be aware of those disgraced, dishonoured and rendering this repulsive. They are the ones who are cut off from me entirely and utterly, remaining miserably short of being complete. 108:3 Surely, it is your opponent that will be cutting himself off from the Abundant Good. 108:3 Your opponent will be the loser. 108:3 Lo! It is thy insulter (and not thou) who is without posterity. 108:3 For he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from Future Hope). 108:3 Verily, he that hates thee has indeed been cut off [from all that is good]! 108:3 Indeed your rival will be the loser. |
